US NAVY SHIRT - WABASH DUNGAREE
Item No. 80500010210
Colour : Indigo
Size : 46 / 48 / 50 / 52 / 54

The OPEN COLLAR SHIRT made from the same wabash fabric has also been released, but this is a US NAVY SHIRT based on vintage long sleeved US Navy shirts.

This is Nigel Cabourn's first attempt at "Wabash".

Wabash is a fabric that has been used mainly for American workwear since the early 1900s. It is characterised by small polka dots lined up on denim or dungarees dyed with indigo, using a discharge printing technique which gives it the appearance of stripes from a distance.

This pattern can be seen in American vintage workwear from the 1920s and 1930s, but because clothing from this era is rarely available on the market to begin with and due to the recent vintage boom, they are said to be traded at incredible prices today.

Many replica brands use modern technology to recreate vintage items from that time.

What's interesting about this item is that it mixes military wear and workwear, two elements that aren't usually seen together.

The US NAVY SHIRT, which is the model of the shirt, was literally used by the US Navy and was originally made in a plain chambray. By adding Wabash to it, it has become a special item that has never been seen before.

Nigel Cabourn's specialty is "eclectic design." Anyone with a deep knowledge of vintage items will surely appreciate the appeal of this product.

The blue coloured urea buttons are the same as the vintage buttons. The colours of the buttons and stitching are a perfect match for the Wabash fabric.

The pointed collar style also follows the vintage style, and the level of reproduction in this area is impressive.

Height: 186cm / Wearing size: 54

First, I styled with a printed tee and left the shirt open. I usually wear a MEDICAL SHIRT for this styling look, but this shirt will also work

This style, which easily blends into the city, is a classic combination.

Here is one more styling look.

When wearing a blue shirt, you will want to wear white pants. We have only a few left of our popular FRENCH WORK PANT - HEMP CANVAS.

The key to this look is the use of suspenders. The shirt buttons are left open deep to give a casual impression. I love this kind of unusual look, so I wear it regularly, regardless of the styling this time. By the way, the hat I am wearing is from "SUPER DUPER", a hat brand we carry in our stores. We have several other styles available, so if you are looking for a hat like this, please come and try it. This is a work style that I would like you to try this summer.

The quality of "Wabash" far exceeds expectations. Keep an eye on this season's HIGH SUMMER COLLECTION.

Please come and see us in store.

It's been a while since I've shared some of the music I've been listening to lately.

The Japanese post-rock band "toe" is quite famous and recently appeared at GREEN ROOM, so some of you may already know them.

It's amazing how your emotions are stirred as you get closer to the second half.
