This is a long-sleeved version of the OPEN COLLAR SHIRT, a familiar Nigel Cabourn piece. Off White has already sold out online, but don't worry, it is still available at all directly managed stores.
Now at this point you're probably thinking: "Long sleeves in the HIGH SUMMER COLLECTION?"
That's right. Zuki, the head designer of Mainline suggests long-sleeves linen shirts now that temperatures exceed 30 degrees.
In tropical areas such as deserts, people wear long sleeves instead of short sleeves.
This is to protect your skin from the sun by keeping it in the shade at all times.
Inspired by this, Zuki proposed long sleeves for his High Summer Collection.
I was honestly surprised because it was a perspective I had never considered. I had always thought that short sleeves were cooler, but wearing this shirt changed my mind.
The cuffs are a little different from ordinary cuffs, with wider buttons and buttonholes to make it easier to roll up the sleeves.
Personally, I think rolling shirt sleeves looks stylish in a casual but thoughtful way.
By rolling up your sleeves, your accessories will stand out more, so we definitely recommend wearing a watch or a bracelet.
The fabric used is HEMP POPLIN, which is characterised by its soft and smooth texture.
This fabric is just so comfortable. It doesn't feel heavy at all, and its comfortable texture makes your skin feel happy every time you touch it.
This is a mysterious fabric that becomes even softer with repeated wearing and washing, so we hope you will enjoy watching it change over time.
The Charcoal Grey colour is also pigment dyed, giving it a vintage look.
A fresh off-white is classic for summer, but dirty charcoal grey also has a mature feel.

When styling, I think it's best to match the texture and colours in your outfit.
