This product is inspired by vintage sweatshirts and features an arched shape print.
Many classic sweatshirts with motifs like "YALE" and "USNAVY," were characterised by arched lettering, just like this product.
There are various theories as to why, but it is said that making it arched makes it easier to sew and improves visibility. That's why many universities and sports teams used arch-shaped prints.
Another interesting feature of this product is that the print is asymmetrical, akin to the vintage sweatshirt it was inspired by.
There are two main types of prints on vintage sweatshirts. "Rubber print" is made by applying rubber resin to the garment, and "soak-in print" is highly acclaimed in the market. This product uses the latter type of dye-submersion printing.
Submersion printing is a traditional technique that allows the print to fade with repeated wearing and washing, giving the garment a more vintage look.
The cracking of the rubber print over time is certainly cool, but the feeling of aging along with the fabric with the dye-in print will make you grow attached to it.
What you should also pay attention to is the weight of the fabric.
It is said that t-shirts that are 5oz or thicker are less likely to be see-through, but this product is at the very limit of 6oz. With this weight, you don't have to worry about your skin showing through even if you wear it on its own.
It is cotton-soft but is light to wear. It is the perfect t-shirt fabric.

Ivory is an attractive colour that is typical of Nigel Cabourn. With this kind of look, you'll want to pair it with military pants, as in this styling look.
Personally, I like that the print says "Cabourn" instead of "Nigel."

Grey is especially reminiscent of vintage printed t-shirts.
For styling, I paired it with the DECK PANT - VINTAGE WASH, which has been given an aged finish, and I personally recommend this "total vintage look."
In addition, the round body design with no side seams makes it soft against the skin and extremely comfortable to wear.
When it comes to buying vintage printed t-shirts, there are many things to consider, such as the condition, the meaning of the print, and the size, so it may take some time to find one that you are happy with. With this product, you can wear it without worrying about any of that.
