GAS PROTECT COAT CAMO

This lightweight outerwear design is based on the gas- and dust-resistant coats worn by the British Army during World War II (protecting against sand, etc.).
The pink camouflage colour, the same as the vintage version, is my personal recommendation! It's a cute design, isn't it?
The original (vintage) version was designed to be worn over a backpack, which made the back look a little awkward. This product eliminates those unnecessary details, resulting in a simple, lightweight outerwear piece.

This smock is made from the same ripstop material as the men's and has a frog camo (duck hunter camo) pattern.
It's dyed using a pigment dye process, which is insoluble in both water and oil and imparts colour when particles penetrate between the fibres. Washing the garment after dyeing also creates a faded look, perfectly in line with this season's theme.
The smock looks great when paired simply with denim or a sweatshirt. Personally, I also recommend layering it with a gathered collared blouse.

▪︎Khadi
The Khadi series is a hot topic in the SS26 WOMAN collection. Khadi is a hand-spun and hand-woven fabric in India. Because the production of Khadi requires the involvement of many artisans, including spinners, reelers, pullers, and weavers, it is a time-consuming process that cannot be mass-produced. Handcrafted Khadi is breathable and has a soft, fluffy feel.

This garment has been sewn with each pleat taken by hand. It's so luxurious to have it all done by hand. There's a charm to it that just can't be achieved by machine. I thought the airy, fluffy feel was perfect for this beach style.
For this look, I've paired it with the smock introduced above. Also, pairing it with a striped top or something similar will go even better with the seaside image of SS26.

The sack jacket is a new type of jacket that is easy to put on and take off casually, with a single layer and oversized construction, rather than a dressy jacket.
The three-dimensional patterns, such as the V-pockets and flare-out sleeves, are inspired by European work jackets.

What's worth paying attention to is the material. The dark navy has a herringbone weave and is made of 60% linen and 40% hemp. The beige is a 100% hemp twill.

The design is based on vintage 1940s style. It can be put on and taken off using a zipper on the side.
