Hello everyone. This is Nishizawa from the Osaka store.
Although we are approaching the end of summer, the heat is still intense and long these days in Japan. In recent years, humidity has been high and the climate has changed to a subtropical one. This makes the temperature feel uncomfortable, and the heat feels humid, almost like being in a sauna. Even people from overseas who live in high-temperature regions often say that the summer temperatures in Japan, especially in urban areas, are abnormally hot.
Although the hot and humid days continue, aloha shirts always add a welcome boost to your summer styling, and as someone who loves patterns, they are an important item that lifts my spirits. I have a wide variety of patterned shirts, from second-hand to new.
The SS25 collection's ALOHA SHIRT featured a reproduction of the classic "Hyakutora" pattern, which was an explosive hit, but there was also another ALOHA pattern with a very witty, chic and interesting design that was really easy to style and lifted the spirits in the uncomfortable heat. Here I'd like to show you a styling of this shirt and pants, which are my favourite items I bought this season.
Both items are in limited stock, so if you're interested, be sure to get yours soon!

The aloha shirts released by Nigel Cabourn so far have been a succession of cool masterpieces with exquisite colours and design sense, including classic designs that are popular even in vintage aloha shirts, such as Japanese, floral, fruit, and ethnic patterns, as well as designs with a rugged, masculine tribal feel, and have been getting the heart racing every season.
As mentioned above, this "FARMER - Wheat" model is based on the very witty, stylish and humorous worldview of a wheat field harvest scene, with images of farmers at work, windmills, and wooden signs, creating a truly uplifting and cheerful presentation with an exquisite colour balance. This is an added value that is not found in other aloha shirts, and is one of the reasons I really like this classic pattern.

Popular and valuable even as a vintage item, this 100% rayon aloha shirt is perfect for wearing in hot, humid weather. Made from plant-based materials, it is moisture-wicking and breathable. Its thermal conductivity is higher than cotton, meaning that when the fabric touches your skin, it instantly transfers your body heat to the fabric, creating a cooling effect. The smooth feel makes it comfortable to wear, even in hot and humid weather.
The moderate sheen also enhances the elegant vibe, making it a great choice for pairing with classic trousers and traditional items.
The base colour of the "FARMER" aloha shirt is a muted grey/khaki tone, which goes well with the classic and luxurious pants made from a special fabric, "HEMP LINEN CHECK", a masterpiece from SS25 OX'ED SILVER, which is made from twisted hemp and linen. I like the styling of checked pants with a patterned shirt.
Of course, it also goes very well with white pants, indigo or black denim, or military pants in earth tones like green or khaki, and I pair it with pants of various colours and designs depending on the occasion, but the versatile aloha shirt lifts my spirits with every combination.

The design of this "FARMER" shirt features a farmer drinking beer while working, as is the message in the design. I've been spending a lot of time on my days off working in the rice paddies and fields recently, and there's nothing quite like a beer and a little vegetable snack after working in the hot sun. Then, when I go out wearing an aloha shirt, I feel even better. In the summer, the combination of aloha, beer, and music is essential.
This is a masterpiece aloha shirt with a rare, exquisite colour balance and a touch of humour! The heat is still going strong. If you are interested, please contact us.
