We've been eagerly awaiting this product's arrival.
The GRANDPA SHIRT is a signature piece from Nigel Cabourn.
You've probably seen it in a variety of fabrics before.
The cut-and-sew fabric from Nishiwaki City, Hyogo Prefecture, one of Japan's leading cotton textile producing regions, has been brushed and released in a sophisticated check pattern.
Despite how it looks, it's actually 100% cotton.
It has such a fuzzy, fluffy appearance that it's easily mistaken for wool.
And sure enough, when you put it on, it's surprisingly soft to the touch, and absolutely comfortable to wear.
While grandpa shirts typically feature small or stand-up collars, this piece uses a Windsor collar, which originated in the UK.
The collar corners are slightly longer, with a pronounced angle at the opening.
Compared to the Windsor collars used on actual dress shirts, the tips are slightly rounder, giving it a softer impression while still maintaining a formal feel.
The pattern and colour are subdued, perfect for autumn and winter.
It's nothing like a vintage grandpa shirt and is brimming with Nigel Cabourn's originality.
The pants I paired it with are the ARMY CARGO PANT.
I'm sure everyone knows them.
The pants I'm wearing in the photo are my own, and I wear them 6-7 times a week.
It's been about three months since I started wearing them, and as a result they've already started to change very noticeably over time.
The reason I've included these pants underneath this time is because I wanted to draw your attention to how extremely versatile the ARMY CARGO PANT is, compared to other pants.
They will generally go with any top, so if you're unsure how to pair them with a seemingly unusual look, I recommend these.
There are many reasons for this, such as the comfort of the one-wash back satin, the darts at the knees, and the ability to adjust the sizing by tightening the adjuster, but the sense of security you get from knowing you have these pants is what makes them so great.

I also have one more recommendation for you. It's this vest from the French Work series.
It's made from hemp, so you can expect it to age beautifully.
As you can see, the grandpa shirt has a long hem, so many people may find it a little difficult to wear.
In those cases, try putting this oversized vest on over it.
When covering something that is long vertically, it creates a well-balanced look, so I highly recommend it.
What did you think?
This time, it may seem difficult, but it's actually not. We introduced some slightly different ways to wear clothes that anyone can pull off.
Try this outfit out in store.
I'm sure you'll discover a new side of yourself.
