The "FINCH PARKA" is one such example. It is named after mountaineer George Finch, who participated in the 1924 Everest expedition.
This model is a redesign of the eiderdown coat, "one of the world's earliest down jackets," which Finch wore on his Everest expedition. The Ventile outer fabric is 100% cotton woven at an ultra-high density, making it a highly functional material that is waterproof, windproof, and breathable. Its greatest feature is its "structural waterproofness," which allows the fibres to expand when wet, sealing the gaps between the threads and forming a waterproof and water-repellent barrier, making it Nigel Cabourn's signature material.
The down is made of 95% top-quality goose down and 5% feathers, which is a higher down ratio than regular down, making it extremely light and warm.

As you can see in the photo above, it features a sheepskin boa that securely covers the neck, and when the collar is raised it extends to cover the face, so it wraps around the neck and holds it in place against the cold midwinter wind, providing warmth and a sense of security, in my personal experience. This is what attracted me to the FINCH PARKA as a vintage coat.
