The fabric remains the same, a dungaree material that is 60% cotton and 40% linen.
The warp threads are white and the weft threads are indigo, in a twill weave.
Blouses made from this dungaree fabric have a work-like, casual feel.
The addition of gathers adds a touch of feminine sweetness.
And now from AW25, a "raw cut" design has been added.
The ruffles are cut off, so the edges of the fabric will fray.
They're cut on the bias, so they won't fray in a messy way.
This is an important detail that reduces the sweetness of the design.
By making it even more casual than the previous model, it has been updated to a design that is easier to wear on a daily basis.
Also, for reference, please take a look at the changes over time in the GATHER COLLAR BLOUSE C/L that I purchased in AW24 and wore continuously for a year.

I purchased two colours, but the aging process is more obvious in the blue one.
The fabric has become much softer and has a nice, crumpled feel, making it easier to wear.
The gathers are a little looser than when it was new, but I like it even with that looseness.
The sleeves have faded slightly, brightening the colour.
I wear both colours equally often, and it's so much fun to be able to choose the colour depending on my mood that day and the bottoms I pair it with.
I'm glad I bought both colours; they're very useful items.
