First up, the first item.
From Nigel Cabourn's workwear line, "LYBRO."
This item combines elements of Nigel Cabourn's favourite Donkey Jacket with the US Navy N-1 Deck Jacket.
The unique design and fabric give it an imported feel.
The outer fabric is 100% cotton.
It uses durable "German cord," which has a firm, resilient texture with a subtle sheen.
German cord is said to have originated with the German military, and due to its versatility, it is said to be one of the greatest military fabrics, later used in many workwear and hunting jackets.
The buttons are also distinctive.
The ring-shaped slit buttons secured with tape are inspired by those used by the British Air Force and Royal Navy in the 1950s. The first button is designed like the familiar deck hook.
The different button designs work together to create a seamless eclectic look.
Speaking of deck jackets, this "egg pocket" is a must-have. It allows for easy access and access to the contents. It's a very useful feature.
The fabric used for the accents is corduroy, and the navy colour shows great style.
The collar is slightly small, reminiscent of the pattern found on early to mid-1940s deck jackets. The compact collar makes it easy to style and wear, which is a plus.
It uses inner padding to increase heat retention. The lining is made of polyurethane, making it lightweight and comfortable.
This is an excellent item that can be worn easily from outdoors to everyday wear.

40’s US CLIP JACKET MODIFY - BLACK

This was the most popular item at the in-store pre-order event at the FLAGSHIPS STORE.
Tracing the history of the collection based on this particular item, it first appeared in 2017. It re-appeared two years later and caused a stir when Nigel was seen wearing it, resulting in an immediate sell-out. Production was discontinued that year, and many people were eager for it to be reproduced.
Roughly five years later, last year it was revived as a special order with HORSEHIDE LEATHER to commemorate the FLAGSHIP STORE's 10th anniversary, with a limited run of 30 pieces. This also received an overwhelming response.
And now, it's finally back, in black.
There are two main design ideas for this product.
① M-1943 "DECK HOOK"
② N-1 DECK JACKET
Originating from the cold weather workwear worn by U.S. Navy deck crews.
This product boasts a unique design that combines elements of the extremely rare early-model DECK HOOK (①) and the later-model N-1 DECK JACKET (②).
① features clip buttons and oval pockets.
② features an alpaca wool lining, a small collar with a chin strap, and hidden ribbing on the sleeves.
There are other design details, but the main focus is on combining the above.
The fabric used is the same "jungle cloth" as the vintage N-1 Deck Jacket.
Jungle cloth is a plain weave fabric in which the weft threads are tightly woven against the warp threads, making it the ultimate fabric with even greater abrasion resistance and wind resistance than twill or canvas.
There are various theories about the origin of the name "jungle," but it is said that it was not actually used for tropical purposes, but rather was a metaphorical expression meaning "fabric that can withstand harsh environments."
It's a confusing yet unique name, lol.
The lining is made of alpaca wool pile, which further enhances the warmth.
In Tokyo, a single shirt or sweatshirt will provide ample warmth.
The clips used in this product are high-quality German-made clips, aiming to rival the quality of the fabric. They're guaranteed to be easy to put on and take off, have a high clip sensitivity, and are durable.
