ARMY CARGO SHORT - FADE CAMO
Item No. 80500051213
Colour : Green
Size : 30 / 32 / 34 / 36 / 38
This is a shorts version of the ARMY CARGO PANT, a signature item from Nigel Cabourn. It is based on the US military M-51 and mixes in the US military M-43 with a magazine pocket, a detail from British military uniforms.
This season, we have updated the pattern for these shorts, creating a more impressive silhouette.

Nigel himself is a big fan of camouflage shorts, and the item he is wearing in the photo is last year's model.
At first glance, this pattern may seem difficult to style, but that is not the case. You can wear it as a set with the same pattern, or pair with the same colour, a single colour, or monotone, and it will go well with any other items and create a stylish look.
As you can see from Nigel's styling, he uses a variety of patterns and colours. I honestly think he's cool, but more than that, I get the feeling that he's someone who just loves fashion.
Therefore, I think that even items that most people would tend to avoid can be incorporated into interesting styling.

The camouflage pattern used on this product is brushstroke camo. This is a special camouflage pattern used by the British Special Air Service (SAS).
In fact, this particular unit has another print that is suitable for poor environmental conditions. These pants were made for wearing in desert areas and are commonly known as DRAB TROUSERS.
These pants are not camouflage, but rather feature a brown chambray pattern that matches the geography of the landscape. It is not as popular or well-known as Brushstroke, but as I love European vintage, I get very excited when I find this print because it is much harder to find on the market.
Recently, camouflage patterns from European countries that had not received much attention in the past have started to gain popularity in the vintage clothing market. The item that started this trend is undoubtedly the SAS PANT sampled this time.
I am also secretly eyeing camouflage items from niche countries, but since there are very few of them around I will refrain from mentioning them here. I don't want to increase my competition...
If I get my hands on any, I will show you in a blog or styling post.

The fabric used is cotton, which has a firmer feel than back satin. The colour was bright after the initial dyeing stage, but by then going through a process to fade the pigment, it has taken on this vintage look and feel.
The silhouette is flared towards the hem, ensuring volume around the legs and balances well with summer tops, which tend to be worn in a larger size.

Height: 173cm / Wearing size: 34
At this time of year when the temperature isn't too high, you can wear long sleeves to stay comfortable even in the mornings and evenings when the temperature is still low.
The ALOHA shirt series has been very well received.
While the tiger print tends to catch your eye, the meticulous design of the farmer's shirt is also quite intriguing.
Brushstroke camo is a camouflage pattern only worn by the elite in the British military.
Combined with the designs typical of the US military. The perfect mix between two teams that never usually would.
We look forward to your visit and enquiries.
