40s US CLIP JACKET - MODIFY

Even if you're not a military fan, the MA-1 is a well-known style that many people have probably seen. It is based on the flight jacket used by the US Air Force in the 1950s. You often see it in movies.
It's made of nylon, has a short length, and has ribbed sleeves and hem, all of which are typical MA-1 details. The volume and length are just right!
The front part is not inspired by the MA-1, but rather by the "DECK HOOK" jacket used by the US Navy. It features a clip hook that can be put on and taken off even when wearing thick gloves. It's made of metal, but doesn't look too hard. The size is just right!
The wool lining and sturdy ribbing around the neck and wrists provide wind and cold protection, just as you'd expect from a military jacket. It would also be fine to wear with a light knit or flannel shirt.
The DECK JACKET has a rather hard look, but the styling possibilities are surprisingly wide.

The green gives it a military feel, while the feminine lace knit adds a soft touch.
It would also look cute as a dress!
