This product is based on a vintage jacket worn by gunners operating land-based artillery batteries and naval guns. The name "gunner jacket" comes from this.
Since it was designed to be worn in the narrow interiors of vehicles (indoors), the fabric is thinner than other military jackets and it is not designed to provide much warmth.
This product has a green checked lining, which not only looks good but also provides warmth. Incidentally, a mac coat with the same lining has also been released, made exclusively for the Fukuoka store, so please take a look at that as well. ↓↓↓

There are two large pockets on the front, and a fireman clip is used only on the top fastening. The size is like a smock that you can throw on loosely, so I personally think that's a good point about it as it doesn't look too plain.

This product is made from Taslan nylon. It has a subdued, calm feel with the lustre typically found in nylon fabrics, so it can easily be paired with fabrics like wool and linen.
We asked Murakami to style it with an authentic, classic sweater. The result is a nice finish.
