High Summer Collection Style: ARMY SHIRT RAYON PIGMENT & N-1 DECK PANT LINEN CANVAS

Hello blog readers. This is Muta from the Nigel Cabourn LUCUA Osaka store.

Every year around July or August, I usually hold off on buying summer items and look forward to the arrival of autumn and winter products, but this season the Nigel Cabourn SS HIGH SUMMER COLLECTION lineup was so extensive that it peaked my interest for things and I ended up buying more than I had planned.

We will be introducing styling using items from the HIGH SUMMER COLLECTION, a masterpiece by MAIN LINE designer ZUKI, along with product descriptions.

ARMY  SHIRT - RAYON PIGMENT

No. 80510011202

COLOUR : CAMEL / GREY

SIZE : 46 / 48 / 50 / 52

Nigel Cabourn has released a new rayon shirt based on the familiar OPEN COLLAR SHIRT, with the chest pocket incorporating the design of the M-43 HBT JACKET used by the US Army.

The fabric used this time is bowling rayon, which, as the name suggests, is a rayon material that aims for the fabric composition of bowling shirts seen in the 1950s.

This fabric is made using a technique called interweaving, in which rayon filament yarn is used for warp yarn and spun yarn for weft yarn. Unlike typical fabric designs, an interwoven weave creates a rich, textured appearance. This special rayon fabric has been pigment dyed to give it a more faded look, creating a very interesting piece.

ITEM No. 80510050200

COLOUR : GREY

SIZE : 30 / 32 / 34 / 36

This is a classic piece that appears in Nigel's archives as part of past collections, and has been reissued for the first time in a long time.

It was originally developed as cold-weather workwear for naval soldiers working in the harsh conditions on deck, and the original design featured a thick, sturdy jungle cloth outer layer and a wool lining. For our product, a specially developed linen fabric was used to create an excellent item that can be worn even in the middle of summer.

It is light to wear and the linen fabric is breathable, so it doesn't trap heat even in the summer, making it comfortable.

Overalls look great with just a T-shirt, making them a great statement piece for the middle of summer when you want to avoid layering, but they also go well with a shirt like this one.

In particular, relaxed boxy tops like the ARMY SHIRT RAYON PIGMENT we've introduced, also go well with thick overalls, so we recommend this combination.

We have small quantities of both items available, so please feel free to contact us.
