Hello to everyone reading this blog.
This is Muta from Nigel Cabourn's LUCUA Osaka store.
While the temperature is steadily approaching winter-like levels, it still feels like a season with significant temperature fluctuations. It gets chilly at night, and I'm hoping it will soon get cold enough to wear heavy outerwear. Here are some recommended items for just that time of year.

Introducing this season's Nigel Cabourn original, the PAPATROOPER JACKET, crafted in Nigel Cabourn's signature British military brushstroke camo, mixes the details of a paratrooper jacket with those of a gunner jacket.
To recreate the brushstroke camo worn by the British Special Air Service (S.A.S.), the jacket is pigment printed and then dyed, with a final pigment dye applied to create a vintage, dirty look. This elaborate production process involves using a pigment print and then dyeing the base, resulting in a textured, vintage look. I also own this fabric, and the camo pattern will develop a distinctive vintage look with each wash and wear, making it a highly recommended piece.
The back satin fabric is just the right thickness, not too thin, making it perfect for heavy winter outerwear. However, the loose, boxy silhouette and unlined design make it easy to layer or wear underneath.

Although the main PAPATROOPER JACKET is not a heavy outerwear item, I wanted to create a winter-like outfit, so I paired it with a high-neck shirt and corduroy pants.
The corduroy used in the FRENCH WORK PANT is a heavy 8-wale fabric that is double-woven, and the texture is so impressive that it's a sight to behold.
The earth-tone camo pattern is paired with brown corduroy pants for a tonal look, but adding ivory or white underneath gives the overall look a clean look.
I like layering, so I recommend pairing it with a vest underneath. When the temperature drops, I also recommend pairing it with knitwear or a 20.5oz heavy sweatshirt.
It's a highly versatile item that you can wear right away.
