KEY CREW KNIT
Item No. 80511140000
Colour : Navy
Size : 44 / 46 / 48 / 50 / 52 / 54 / 56
This is one of the items from the Authentic Line that I'm personally very excited about.
I'll do my best to share the appeal of this product!

The navy, red, and white colour scheme is inspired by the Union Jack (the British flag).
It's a valuable colour scheme precisely because it's chosen by British brand Nigel Cabourn.
The material is 100% British wool, adding another British element.
*The BOBBLE HAT uses merino wool for a comfortable fit.
British wool is more elastic and durable than other wools, and is less likely to lose its shape.
In addition, because it has a lot of crimp, it easily traps air between the fibres and has excellent heat retention, so we'd love for you to wear it often as the temperature drops.

The design features a Nordic pattern, and the choice of pattern is one of the exciting aspects of this product.
Nordic patterns are traditional knitting patterns that developed in Northern Europe, including Norway and Iceland.
Many of the patterns are based on nature in the Nordic region, using motifs such as mountains, snowflakes, and moose.
Typical Nordic patterns often feature fine jagged patterns with a mountain motif, but this product features a row of roughly-spaced triangles.
I had never seen a pattern with such a rough texture before, so I thought there must be some intention behind it... and began to think about the design motif.

This is just my personal opinion, but I've come to the conclusion that the pattern is based on London buildings with pointed roofs (such as the Palace of Westminster and Big Ben).
If the colour scheme, materials and country of production are all British, then surely the pattern must also be British? That's what I thought.
This is purely my personal opinion, and I don't know the intention behind the design, but it would be interesting if they went that far.
I've put together a styling using knitwear that is full of British elements!

Height: 180cm / Wearing Size: 50
For some reason, there's a British pay phone in Omotemachi Shopping Arcade, where our Okayama store is located. LOL
This was the only place I could shoot! Thinking about it, I paired it with a bobble hat and British army pants with the same pattern. It's all British!
I wore a size 50, and it fits just right, just the way I like it.
Even going up one size didn't feel too big, so if you prefer a slightly looser fit, I recommend sizing up!
Also, Mr. Endo from FLAGSHIP STORE is showcasing the same product, so if you're interested, be sure to check out his blog!
