A modified design based on British Royal Air Force overpants from the 1950s. "Overpants," as the name suggests, are protective pants designed to be worn over regular pants (trousers)

It faithfully reproduces the functionality of the original design. It features a relaxed silhouette and a powerful, striking design.

The material used is a weathercloth made of 70% cotton and 30% nylon. Its high-density weave provides toughness that can withstand rain and wind. The dry texture of the cotton-nylon blend, along with the way it develops a vintage look with use, is also a major appeal.

The fact that it has a wide silhouette but doesn't feel heavy is thanks to this material.

First, let's talk about the flap pockets that are positioned low down. The reason why vintage protective suits and similar garments have low pockets is, simply put, "because you wear a lot of equipment around your waist." The pockets were moved lower to prevent interference with the equipment around the waist.

In modern times, it's appreciated not just for its functionality, but also for its "interesting design." Thanks to the low placement of the pockets, the waist and thighs appear slim, while the legs have just the right amount of volume. I think this unique balance of proportions is a very attractive point in today's fashion.

Rest assured, there are pockets on both sides. The waist and hem can be adjusted with drawstrings to change the size and silhouette. It's very comfortable as there's no need to wear a belt.

The trick to tying the waist drawstring is to pull it straight across without crossing it. This ensures that the entire garment is evenly fitted and the knot is less likely to loosen.

Furthermore, the drawstring is subtly adorned with the Broad Arrow, indicating that it is British military issue. The attention to detail is truly impressive.

It can also be worn as a set with a souvenir jacket made of the same material.

The lion on the back is impressive, but personally, I also like the hand-drawn-style embroidery on the front.

Despite its rugged military roots, these pants are surprisingly lightweight and comfortable. The oversized silhouette doesn't cling to the legs, allowing for good ventilation and keeping you comfortable even in the summer.

Please try it out in-store!
