Nigel Cabourn Woman's masterpiece, the "Gentleman's Double-Breasted Jacket," is available this season in two different styles. Both are lightweight and easy to dress down casually.
Today, I'll be introducing these two styles.
GENTLEMANS DB JACKET - HERRINGBONE

First up is a gentleman's double-breasted jacket in a herringbone weave. The herringbone weave and indigo dye give it a workwear feel.
Yet, the double-breasted design gives it an overall refined and elegant impression.
It's a jacket with an exquisite balance of casualness and sophistication.
The material is 60% linen and 40% hemp. In addition to the cool feel characteristic of linen, it also boasts excellent moisture absorption and quick-drying properties, making it comfortable to wear even in the coming seasons. It's also a great item for protection against air conditioning in the summer.
The appeal of this gentleman's double-breasted jacket lies in its "figure-eight" silhouette that flares towards the hem and its "front-sloping" pattern when viewed from the side.
Double-breasted jackets generally tend to have a boxy and heavy appearance, but this one dispels that impression with its curved pattern. The result is a clean and beautiful silhouette that looks great from every angle, including the front, side, and back.
For this season, the design has been changed to remove the shoulder pads, making it easier to wear for everyday use.
This increases ease of movement and makes it easier to dress down casually.
Also, the cuffs have been changed from functional buttonholes to straight sleeves. This makes it easier to alter the sleeve length if it's too long, which is another great feature.

Next up is the Gentleman's Double-Breasted Jacket - Cotton Twill.
Made with organic cotton and woven with highly twisted yarn, it has a crisp, dry-touch texture.
The appeal of cotton is, of course, its ease of care. It can be washed at home and worn in any season, making it very practical for everyday use.
This jacket is available in two colours: ivory and black.
Compared to the herringbone type I introduced earlier, it's even lighter and thinner, making it a jacket that can be worn like a shirt.
Personally, I recommend the herringbone for those who want to enjoy a more masculine feel and the texture of the weave.
On the other hand, the cotton twill, with its flat and basic texture, blends easily into everyday styling and can be incorporated without feeling too formal.
While gentlemen's double-breasted jackets are appealing, many people have felt they "don't have an occasion to wear them."
These new models have been updated to be more suitable for everyday wear by omitting shoulder pads and functional buttonholes.
We encourage anyone who has previously felt a little intimidated by jackets to give this one a try.
