《Women's Military Fashion》SWEDISH RANCH PANT & SKIRT

Hello everyone who reads this blog. This is Kiriyama from the Ginza Novo store.
Before introducing the products, I'd like to talk a little about women's military fashion.
One of the reasons I came to like military fashion is that I also liked women's fashion that were only cute, and I always felt that something was missing (laughs). There is always a reason behind the design of military clothing.
I think the appeal of military fashion lies in the fact that it has such a background while also having a sense of aesthetic interest as a design. The items I will introduce this time are military-based items that are easy for women to incorporate into their wardrobes.

These Swedish ranch pants were designed in the 1940s based on work pants worn by the Swedish Army.  The first thing that catches the eye is the flap pockets on the front. I love the bold placement and rounded shape. They can be fastened with buttons on the sides. The overall silhouette is tapered, and the hems can be tightened with buttons.

This garment uses herringbone fabric. Herringbone is more durable than plain weave and less prone to showing dirt, which is why it has a history of being frequently used in military wear. Because it's a lightweight cotton fabric, it seems suitable even for the height of summer. It's relatively light and supple.
We also offer a skirt version.

Swedish Ranch Skirt - Herringbone
Item No. 80520852001
Sizes: 6 / 8
The skirt is designed to be cinched at the back with a cinch back, creating a gathered effect. Therefore, the waist and hip areas are generously sized, so you should choose your size based on the overall length.

The skirt comes in two colours: green and off-white. Although the fabric is thin, it's not see-through even when worn on its own, so it seems like it will be useful all year round.
I believe that a woman's sense of style is incredibly important when it comes to military fashion. There are styles that only women can express. I would be happy if you could incorporate military elements as one of your core styles!
