First of all, a fly front is a jacket with a double-layered placket that hides the front zipper and buttons.
Most typical denim jackets have buttons or an exposed zipper.
In contrast, a fly front hides the buttons and zipper, which softens the rugged and unassuming image of denim jackets and gives them a cleaner look.
The fly front placket blends in with the pleats, creating a beautiful, uniform vertical look.
Also, the change buttons, which are placed to sandwich the fly front, add an exquisite accent.
