As you all know, workwear from the old days placed great importance on functionality, and corduroy is a fabric with a unique background.

Its origins are said to date back to 18th-century England or France.
While there are various theories, it's difficult to say for sure, but the most likely etymology is a combination of cord (a ribbed fabric) and duroy (a type of coarse cloth).
Originally adopted as a durable fabric to protect the lives of workers and military uniforms, in the 19th century it began to be used for expensive items like hunting jackets for the upper class, and today it is considered a staple winter fabric.
Currently, polyester blends are overwhelmingly prevalent on the market, and 100% cotton is quite rare.
The base fabric at the base of the ribs needs to be woven densely to prevent the ribs from coming loose. Therefore, we use a gravity loom to weave this densely, resulting in a sturdy fabric that will not loosen even after repeated washing.
Our staff has worn pants made from the same fabric that were released a few years ago quite a bit, and they have not only not worn out, but still retain their firmness.
The buttons are basket buttons.
Craftsmen feel the hardness or softness of the leather with their hands, adjusting the tightness to ensure uniform size.
The buttons are then pressed together using a press, and even here fine adjustments are made to ensure a uniform shape.
These precious buttons require delicate and advanced skills and cannot be made by machine.
