The "SHEEPSKIN VEST" was released last year and is one of AUTHENTIC LINE's masterpieces.
Its plump, bouncy, high-quality sheepskin leather and deep texture that can appear green, charcoal, or brown depending on the light have captivated many Nigel aficionados.
I bought one last year and it's still going strong this season, raving about it.
The only concern with the SHEEPSKIN VEST is probably "how to wear it." Because it's such a unique piece, it can be hard to know what other items to pair it with.

Nigel Cabourn has reimagined the long-sleeved undershirt known as a "thermal," which was originally designed by the US Army for use in extremely cold environments.
While typical thermals are made with either honeycomb or waffle fabric, this product is made with a mix of two fabrics.
It's hard to tell from the images in our online store or in our catalog, but this is incredibly good.
What makes this product special is its well-thought-out fabric placement and comfort.
The body is made of thick honeycomb fabric for reliable warmth, while the arms are made of highly stretchable waffle fabric to reduce stress around the arms, which are prone to a lot of movement.
The fabric placement is truly outstanding.
Only those who have worn it will understand, but the comfort is so impressive it's almost moving.
Three staff members at the FLAGSHIP STORE, including myself, are fans of this product, and I think that's the best reason to recommend it.
Vintage thermals were used as undershirts, so they have a body-hugging silhouette, but this product is designed to be worn on its own, with roomy chest and arm width.
This silhouette, which is not found in vintage thermals, is also an essential element when talking about this product.

As the title suggests, it goes perfectly with the SHEEPSKIN VEST, which is based on a jerkin vest.
I was torn between size 54, but I wanted a slightly looser fit so I bought size 56.
It's warmer than it looks, so it's a great idea to have one on hand.
Nigel Cabourn has offered several jerkin vests like the SHEEPSKIN VEST in the past, so I highly recommend this one to anyone who already owns one.
