Nigel Cabourn's collection has featured items in colours like charcoal grey and dark grey, as well as black, but this is the first time we've seen such a bold black.

The original US Army M-51 is rare, so vintage pieces are hard to come by. Another great feature of buying new is the ability to choose sizes that fit Japanese body types, something you'd never find in vintage items.
The classic green and khaki colours are nice, but the jet black colour, achieved using reactive dye that penetrates deep into the core of the thread, is striking when viewed up close, making this a truly exceptional piece.
The temperature is finally just right to wear long sleeves, so I've been wearing a lot of these styles lately. I also like the all-black styling, which is rare for Nigel Cabourn, in a good way.
