This product is made using yarn dyeing fabric.
The patterns are created by yarn dyeing both warp yarn and weft yarn that cross vertically and horizontally, and then weaving them in. It may sound simple, but it requires the skilled dyeing techniques of a craftsman and the ability to predict how the pattern will appear when woven.
The style pattern is a classic BRITISH OFFICERS SHIRT, with a clean and vibrant check that is appropriate for the cool feel of the HIGH SUMMER COLLECTION.
The fabric itself is soft and thin like gauze, making it a perfect match for this madras-like check.

The collar is a standard button-down style.
The classic OFFICERS SHIRT has a hidden button-down collar because it was designed to be worn in formal settings, but in order to make this version more casual, we have changed it to a regular button-down shirt influenced by sports styles, giving it a more casual feel.
You can leave it buttoned up, but I personally recommend wearing it unbuttoned as shown in the photo for a more relaxed look.
Another nice feature for men is that there is a pocket on the left chest that is just the right size to hold a pack of cigarettes.

Another change from the original is the delicate gathers on the back yoke and cuffs.
The yoke in particular is intended to increase the range of motion from the back to the shoulders, and although it is a detail that can also be seen on vintage shirts, in modern times it is excellent not only in terms of functionality but also in terms of design.
You'll want to show off the back of this shirt.

This shirt has a unique hem that is rounded from the distinctive placket to the bottom button.
This is designed to prevent the hem from riding up when tucked in, and as this creates friction between the fabrics. Both the button side and the hole side are covered with patched material and reinforced with stitching.
It's a small detail, but it's one that has been carefully thought out.

Before opening, I went to the Meguro River Boat Entrance for the first time to take some photos.
