Hello everyone, good evening.
This is Oda from the Roppongi Hills store.
Two weeks have passed so quickly since we opened. Before I knew it, the cherry blossoms around Roppongi Hills were in bloom!
Thank you to everyone who visited our store! If you haven't yet, we'd love to see you! The three of us are looking forward to meeting you all!
This time, we'll be introducing the renewal of our classic items!
[BRITISH ARMY PANT LOOSE DENIM] [ARMY CARGO PANT]
This second model has been renewed from SS26!! Actually, it had been renewed! The design itself hasn't changed, but previously it was only available in men's smaller sizes.
The cargo pants we're offering this season maintain the volume while making adjustments to the excess material.
Let's try them on!
These British Army pants have been a staple since the brand's early days. While they're wide-legged, the tapered silhouette gives them a cleaner look than other military pants. I suspect a lot of our staff own a pair!
The design hugs the hips, so you naturally wear them higher up, which creates a slight leg-lengthening effect. Alternatively, you could size up to emphasise the wide, military-style silhouette. Personally, I think it's fine to experiment with sizing to find what suits you best.
Starting this year, we've made some adjustments to the hip area. Previously, the silhouette had a rounded shape to allow for a wider range of motion, but we've trimmed that down to some extent.
From the side, the area below the hips looks much neater. From the front, they have a distinct military-style presence. However, unnecessary details have been corrected to create a cleaner silhouette.
Wearing Size: 6 / Height: 159cm
The fabric is still the same 12.5 oz. as before. The image below shows my personal old model, size 30. The fabric has become considerably softer. I've been using them for about four years now. They have developed a nice patina all over, and the puckering has become more pronounced. The colour also seems to have become slightly brighter blue...?
Also, I've been thinking lately that these pants are surprisingly warm. In winter, denim often feels cold when you put it on, but I don't really feel that way with these. Is it just me? (lol) Or is it because they're 12.5 oz?
These have also been revamped. Here are the changes.
- The front magazine pocket has been made slightly smaller.
- Move the hip pockets higher.
- Adjust so that the lower leg does not taper.
- Reduces sagging under the hips.

While the men's version was originally based on a simple cut, this one has also been slightly adjusted. Slight excess fabric around the waist and other areas has been eliminated to create a more flattering silhouette. It maintains a wide silhouette while still having a beautiful length. The previously bulky silhouette now has some sharper details.
These army cargo pants are an enduring classic. I think every store staff member probably owns a pair. I also own a men's size 30, and I've had them for almost five years now.
The fabric hasn't changed, and the colour is completely different compared to when they were new, so I feel a sense of accomplishment knowing that I've really worn them in!
These cargo pants have a cool, classic loose fit and ruggedness. Stylishly updated cargo pants. Both have their merits to a great extent. Which do you prefer? Please feel free to try it on.
