This product is a jacket traditionally worn by ranch workers (farmers and ranchers), reflecting Nigel Cabourn's signature playful spirit.
Personally, this is my favorite piece of the OX'ed Silver lineup to date.

When talking about OX'ed Silver, one thing that's essential is the high quality of the fabric.
Produced on old-fashioned power looms based on the thread count and thread design of vintage fabrics, the fabric recreates the feel of good old vintage clothing that cannot be reproduced with cutting-edge technology.
This fabric uses a heathered cotton and wool warp thread, and a triple-ply weft thread made by twisting three single threads together, giving it a heathered look.
Brown, ivory, navy, and grey...
The heathered look achieved by weaving these coloured threads is only possible thanks to the skill of our chief designer, ZUKI, who has a deep understanding of vintage items.
I remember a colleague once telling me, "OX'ed Silver fabric would rival anything displayed in a museum."
This fabric certainly meets that standard.
The body lining is made of checked cotton, which matches the outer fabric well, while the sleeve lining is made of striped cupro for a smooth feel.
Cupro is a regenerated fibre made from the downy hair extracted from cotton seeds.
Characterized by a silky luster and smooth feel, it is a fabric that is often used for suit linings.
In fact, of all the OX'ed Silver jackets released so far, this is the only one to use cupro, which shows how serious they are.
And when talking about this product, it's essential to mention the "AMF stitching."
AMF stitching is the hand-look stitching found on the collar edges of classic tailored jackets. Suit lovers will likely pay attention to this stitching.
At the time, finishing this stitching by machine inevitably resulted in a stiff texture, so the only way to achieve it was by time-consuming hand-stitching.
Later, American Machine and Foundry developed a sewing machine that could produce a stitch with a soft, hand-like texture.
The term "AMF stitching" was derived from the company's name.
This stitching keeps jackets in good condition for longer and adds a design accent.
This product uses AMF stitching throughout, including on the collar and pockets.
It's a time-consuming, labor-intensive process, but the presence of this stitching greatly increases the value of the item.
The high-quality fabric and stitching give this product a classic look, while the pocket design features gusseted "inverted pleat pockets" reminiscent of US military jungle fatigue jackets and hunting jackets.
It's really great how military and work elements are incorporated into this fabric.
I've been waiting for a jacket like this for ages!
I wanted something classic, but not too classic; a playful design, but not too playful. This product is the perfect piece, fulfilling all of my selfish wishes.

Personally, I like pairing this jacket with caps, beanies, and hoodies because the pockets are so playful.
It also goes extremely well with Nigel Cabourn's three sacred pants: the ARMY CARGO PANT, RAILMAN DENIM, and NEW BASIC CHINO.
There was no way I could not buy such a great jacket.
