PIGMENT COTTON NYLON is a plain weave fabric made of 50% cotton and 50% nylon that has been pigment dyed and then washed to give it a unique faded look.

This product was inspired by the M-43 FIELD PANT used by the US Army.
Of the three styles made from PIGMENT COTTON NYLON, these are the only military pants without cargo pockets.
I first became interested in vintage clothing when I was around 20 years old. At the time, vintage US military gear was affordable and the French M-47 hadn't yet become popular. I remember having a strong desire for the M-51 with its cargo pockets and monkey pants.
After collecting those military pants, they piqued my desire to own military pants without cargo pockets, such as the P-41. Of course, the M-43 is one of them.
This product reminded me of the time before I joined the company when I used to think about vintage items all the time.
The appeal of military pants without cargo pockets is, without a doubt, their high versatility.
Of course, military pants with cargo pockets are highly appealing and valued items, and I use them heavily myself. However, when you want to wear military pants in a sophisticated way, or pair them with bold items, it can be difficult to achieve a balanced look.
In such cases, military pants without cargo pockets like the M-43 are ideal.
The M-43 has two adjustment buttons at the waist.
This design is generally attached to the back, but there are also some that are attached to the front, and this product uses the latter model.
The early model also uses urea buttons, but this product uses the later model 13-star buttons. The reason for "13" is because it represents the number of states that the United States had when it gained independence. The number is a symbol of the freedom America was able to achieve through hardship.
When I first started to like vintage items, I searched everywhere for items with 13 star buttons. I was drawn to the design and storyline.
There are three major changes from the original.
In addition to the waist adjustment buttons on the front, buttons have been added to the back, allowing the pants to be modified to allow the use of suspenders.
The ARMY CARGO PANT, a classic item from Nigel Cabourn, has similar specifications, but the flexibility of this design is truly amazing.
The original back pocket is a square welt pocket, but this product has two patch pockets and a cinch back.
By adopting these design features, the product is even more suitable for daily use.
The original had a button-type adjuster at the hem like the French military's M-47, but this product has been changed to a simpler design without the adjuster.
Personally, I think it's ok to shorten the hem to fit your own size.

You can wear it tucked in or out for a good look.
Although it is a simple piece, it has a deep feeling thanks to the pigment dye and washed finish. The quality of the fabric is so good that it would be easy to call it vintage, so I would definitely like you to experience it for yourself.
