・Traditional details meet modern technology
This product is inspired by the rugged clothing worn by the mountaineering team led by Michiko Imai, who, at the young age of 27, became the first woman to take part in the first ascent of Switzerland's most notorious mountain, the North Face of the Eiger, in 1969.
The material is Mammut's "DryDown," which meets its own set standards.
It is filled with generous amounts of organic, high-quality down (90% down in this product), boasting 750 fill power. Lightweight, with excellent warmth and waterproofing, it is a versatile piece that can be worn both in the city and outdoors.
The outer shell is made from highly durable Pertex® Quantum material, packed with the latest technology.
Pertex was born in 1979 when a British textile manufacturer collaborated with mountaineers to develop the material.
Originally used as parachute fabric, its high quality has led to it being used in a variety of outdoor apparel, including windshells and rainwear.
Pertex Quantum was introduced in 2004 in pursuit of even higher quality.
It uses ultra-fine yarns of less than 20 denier to create a woven structure that is incredibly light yet strong, and it's said in the outdoor industry that "the introduction of Quantum significantly changed the design of lightweight down."
Speaking of the ZIPPER, it is made by "Riri". It is an essential part of many imported products, including the Authentic line.
It features fleece-lined slash pockets to keep your fingertips warm, and a double zipper that keeps things organised when you're seated. Its specs are impeccable for a down jacket.
Very practical.
An essential element is the Mammut logo, a symbol of Mammut.
This is called the Mammut Guarantee Logo and is embroidered as a symbol of Mammut's heritage and reputation for high-performance gear. It's cute.

This product is also a collaboration with Mammut. It incorporates a red mammoth pattern into the historic knitwear known as birdseye knit.
Nigel is also a fan and can often be seen wearing it.
Birdseye knitwear is said to have originated in 19th century Scotland.
The warm fabric, made from Shetland wool, was popular at the time as a winter sweater for fishermen, and later became established in Scandinavian knitwear culture.
Vintage clothing lovers will likely recall the birdseye knitwear produced by a famous American outdoor manufacturer from the 1950s to 1970s. At the time, it established its popularity as a combination of traditional patterns and the outdoors.
I was looking for a pair from that time, but the size never quite fit... This time, the lovely mammoth pattern made me decide to buy it without thinking. I wear it a lot.
