The popular series from SS25 is back for AW25.

We'll be introducing this product, which shines with clever design in every detail.

The fabric is pigment dyed, a popular technique within our 7.8oz series.

- Pigment Dyeing -

Pigment dyeing is a dyeing method in which water-insoluble pigment particles are fixed to the surface of the fibre using an adhesive (binder) or resin.

Put simply, this dyeing method applied colour only to the tips of the fibres, rather than to their core. This allows the dye to bleed and fade with washing.

The unique quality of pigment dyeing is that with each wash, the fabric takes on a completely different appearance, creating an irresistible feeling of maturing.

The design is inspired by vintage baseball shirts that were in circulation around the 70s and 80s.

Shirts from that time had a variety of neck styles, including henley necks and open-front shirts, and of these styles, we have chosen a crew neck for this piece.

The body is, of course, round. The thickness of the fabric and the silhouette are just right, so it looks great on its own, and the lack of seams also makes it appealing when worn as an inner layer, reducing any unpleasant bulk.

And the most intricate detail that shines through is the hem finish.

The original vintage baseball shirts did not have their hems properly finished, so many of them roll up and curl with use. The simple finish gives them an appealing look in modern terms.

However, this product deliberately incorporates modern sewing techniques and has a unique finishing method. The edge is stitched with a twin needle, and then overlocked to reduce curling.

This may sound like a simple and easy technique, but it is essential to use a design and technique that considers the position and strength of the stitching. This "beauty in the details" is only possible thanks to the skill of a seasoned artisan.

The neck area features a double-binder neck, which was also featured in the HIGH SUMMER COLLECTION.

The body fabric is sandwiched between two pieces of collar fabric and sewn with a twin-needle stitch, which reduces stretching and increases strength in the neck area.

As the process of sandwiching and stitching is added, it is naturally more time-consuming and is unlikely to be seen in many other garments.

The double structure not only makes it highly durable, but also acts as a sweatstop, trapping sweat at the neck area. Similar sweat-blocking details are found in vintage sportswear, so this is extremely functional.

Height: 175cm / Wearing Size: 50

We've put together a styling that mainly features a black colour, which is perfect for this season.

We feel that its best qualities are brought out when paired with items of a similar colour.

From the neck, round body, and cut and stitching at the hem, there are intricate details scattered everywhere, which will lift your spirits when you wear it.

We hope you will try out this product, which is packed with attention to detail and will be very useful in the coming season.

We look forward to your visit and inquiries.

This time, we'll be introducing Shifuku Shokudo, a restaurant located near Nigel Cabourn WOMAN THE ARMY GYM KICHIJOJI STORE.

It's famous as a set meal restaurant where you can enjoy chicken curry, which the curry-loving owner has been making for over 10 years, and we recommend the "Blissful Curry Rice" menu, which comes with three different dishes.

If you're visiting Nigel Cabourn WOMAN THE ARMY GYM KICHIJOJI STORE, be sure to stop by.
