《Merino Wool》WAITING COAT - RAG JACQUARD

Hello to everyone reading this blog.

This is Yata from Nigel Cabourn LUCUA Osaka.

Happy New Year!

We hope you will continue to support Nigel Cabourn LUCUA Osaka this year.

How did you spend the New Year?

As for me, the sharp cold is really getting to me, so I bought the best winter gear I can.

WAITING COAT - RAG JACQUARD

No. 80510000000

COLOUR : CHARCOAL GREY / DARK BROWN

SIZE : 46 / 48 / 50 / 52

FITTING SIZE : 50

The name comes from an item that was supposedly provided to actors between filming of movies and other events.

The reverse side of the reversible design uses high-quality merino wool, promising the ultimate in warmth.

And because the fibres are finer than regular wool, it doesn't have the typical itchy feeling.

For me, this itchy feel is a life-or-death issue, and I've had so many experiences where I couldn't wear a garment despite it having a great design and silhouette.

However, this merino wool causes no discomfort whatsoever.

I had given up on this product until I actually tried it on, but I was hooked within minutes.

It's just as warm as down, yet so lightweight.

It's the ultimate heavy outerwear.

It also has excellent moisture-wicking properties, so you don't have to worry about temperature regulation, making it an extremely excellent fabric.

The pattern inside the hood is the same colour scheme used on the lining of an actual vintage coverall.

I like this little detail.

ZIP UP VEST - RAG JACQUARD

No. 80510070000

COLOUR : CHARCOAL GREY / DARK BROWN

SIZE : 46 / 48 / 50 / 52

FITTING SIZE : 50

Of course, the vest, made from the same fabric, is also reversible.

The broad arrow-like design on the front is derived from a Navajo tribal pattern.

By the way, the rug jacquard mentioned in the product name is woven in a two-layer structure, making it an extremely tough item.

This structure ensures warmth and keeps you cozy.

The pants I wore this time were the BASIC CHINO PANT.

I've still got a lot of wear in them and haven't washed them once.

I've worn these pants frequently since they joined my wardrobe, and while I'm mindful of creases and fading at the knees, they're steadily becoming real workwear.

The Weapon chino fabric is incredibly durable, able to withstand such hard work.

I put together this outfit to reaffirm the beauty of charcoal and beige, and it goes without saying.

I think there's really no pair that doesn't go well with these three pieces.

What do you think?

These items will definitely be your best allies during the harsh winter, so why not give them a try?

Yada
