The Basic Chino Pant is a Nigel Cabourn staple that is extremely popular with both customers and staff.
The "Black" version was released in the AW25 Collection and received a great response, and now the "White" version is available for SS26.
It has a refreshing and clean finish that is perfect for spring and summer outfits.
The fabric used is the same as the standard "Weapon" fabric. "Weapon" refers to a high-density 100% cotton twill. The name comes from the fact that it was used for the uniforms of the United States Military Academy known as "West Point" in New York.
While typical Weapon fabrics are sewn with a single thread, this product is sewn with a high-density double thread, which gives it greater strength and smoothness.
This product also undergoes "Nidom" processing.
Simply put, Nidom processing softens the material by beating and kneading it.
These production processes result in a finished product that is more comfortable to wear than the standard BASIC CHINO PANT.
Furthermore, it is extremely rare to find Nigel Cabourn white pants in a fabric that can be worn year-round.
Until now, Nigel Cabourn has released seasonal fabrics such as linen or heavy denim, so many people have likely been waiting for white pants that can be worn year-round.
We pay special attention not only to the fabric but also to the trim parts.
While the classic BASIC CHINO PANT uses urea buttons, this product uses metal buttons. There's a good reason for this.
While most chinos issued by the U.S. military used urea buttons, there were rare pairs of chinos and denim worn by the U.S. Army from World War I to World War II that used metal buttons.
This product takes this background into consideration, and even chooses metal buttons to match the texture of the fabric.
Another notable feature of this product is the silhouette.
It has a wide silhouette that you will never find with original US military chinos.
