Hello everyone. The end of the year is fast approaching...
The temperature is starting to feel like winter. As December begins, light snow has started falling where I live. This year's annual precipitation has been low, and the dry winter weather has continued for a long time. This has resulted in frozen windshields and thick fog in the mornings, making it feel like the cold of midwinter is coming earlier than usual.
I don't like the cold, but when I step outside in the morning and feel the chill of the air and see my breath, I find myself imagining what winter outfits to wear, and I get excited thinking about how to style them!
As a fan of patterned items, I'm excited about this knit cardigan from the AW25 collection. Here's a recommended style for pairing it with a special down jacket.

No. 80510040000
COLOUR : IVORY / DARK BROWN
SIZE : 46 / 48 / 50 / 52
FITTING SIZE : 48
40s DENIM JACKET - VINTAGE WASH
No. 80510030503
COLOUR : INDIGO
SIZE : 46 / 48 / 50 / 52 / 54
FITTING SIZE : 48

Based on a shawl collar cardigan from the 1940s, this thick, 100% wool knit cardigan features a jacquard knit with tribal geometric patterns reminiscent of Native American designs.
Inspired by ethnic motifs from around the world, the simple geometric pattern, reminiscent of vintage rugs, is exquisitely designed for a cool look that will appeal to any man. The large cross design in the centre and the subtle colour balance are also excellent.
Made with a high-density double jacquard weave, this fabric is the epitome of niche craftsmanship, woven into a two-layer structure. It's a tough fabric, also used in rugs, but contrary to its appearance, it's soft and extremely comfortable to wear, making it an excellent item for layering in winter, providing excellent warmth.
The small collar design makes it easy to balance with other items when layered, making it another great piece I was excited about this season. I love pairing it with the 40s DENIM JACKET - VINTAGE WASH.
This denim jacket is a luxurious combination of a rare American denim jacket from the 1940s and the iconic British battle dress jacket. It's been given a luxurious vintage wash treatment, giving it a worn-in feel and a soft, comfortable feel, exuding craftsmanship.
In this styling, I've paired it with military pants, but it would also look great with corduroy pants, denim, or trousers!
The design itself is inspired by the lettered cardigan from American sports culture, so it would also look great in a relaxed style paired with 20.5oz sweatpants!

On days when the temperature hasn't dropped too much, I think this knit cardigan alone is enough to keep you warm, but on cold days when the temperatures are truly wintery, I like to layer a softer down jacket over it, which softens the rough, rugged look of the denim jacket and native print knit cardigan I'm wearing underneath, while also adding a touch of elegance. That's why I chose this down jacket!

Nigel Cabourn x MAMMUT - IN PARKA
No. 80511200001
COLOUR : IVORY / RED / BLUE
SIZE : M / L / XL
FITTING SIZE : M
This stand-collar down jacket is part of a collaboration with Mammut, reinterpreted by Nigel Cabourn after researching the gear worn during the "Japan Diretissima" expedition, a Japanese expedition to the north face of the Eiger in the 1960s.
Based on the downproof material used in that expedition, this jacket is made with lightweight, updated, and highly durable Pertex® Quantum fabric. It also features Mammut's own high-quality "Dry Down" goose down, which meets its own rigourous standards and retains warmth even when wet. With a fill power of 750 or higher, it's a high-spec, high-performance down that retains its warmth expertly.
Generally, a fill power of 600 or higher is considered good, and 700 or higher is considered high quality, making it ideal for outdoor use or in cold climates, combining durability and warmth.
The front of the jacket features a chest pocket with Cobrax snap closures, and a unique asymmetrical closure, a vintage detail, that effectively blocks out wind and maintains excellent warmth. Featuring asymmetrical snaps, the jacket fits snugly around the body even when buttoned up for cold weather, and lightweight insulation for incredible warmth.
This functional outerwear is versatile and can be used for everything from everyday wear in town to serious outdoor activities.
While maintaining a classic vintage look, this special down jacket is an homage to historic mountaineering equipment, combining functional beauty with modern specifications to deliver extreme warmth.

We have released a variety of fascinating collaboration products to date, but our collaboration items with MAMMUT are also special, one-of-a-kind items that are packed with design and performance that has been carefully considered down to the smallest detail, and will make a difference in your fashion!
Come and try them on in store.
Finally, let's talk about boxing, a topic that gives me goosebumps on this cold winter day.
The other day, the WBA World Bantamweight Championship unification bout took place at the Ryogoku Kokugikan in Tokyo.
The bout was between current champion Seiya Tsutsumi and interim champion Nonito Donaire.
It was a true life-or-death battle.
While packed with technique, both fighters displayed even more emotional intensity.
Even watching it on video, I was fascinated by the goosebump-inducing exchange of blows.
You could feel the determination and weight of what both fighters were carrying on their shoulders, and it was the kind of boxing you'll want to watch again and again!
I wish I could have experienced the atmosphere of the live venue.
I've rewatched the details many times, but if you're interested, there are highlights available, so please check them out! Boxing is great, too.
Thank you.
