Hello everyone, good morning and good evening. This is Orita from the Roppongi Hills store.
It's springtime! The cherry blossoms are already falling beautifully. Cherry blossom blizzards are truly gorgeous, aren't they?
Next up, the dogwood and wisteria will be in full bloom!

This blog post is about denim. I think I've mentioned this somewhere before, but I'm drawn to denim items in the spring. It's still a little chilly, but I guess the urge to wear something other than winter clothes is growing stronger. How are things going, everyone?
These slightly tapered, relaxed-fit jeans are made from the familiar 12.5oz denim fabric used by Nigel Cabourn. We also released an item with the same name in AW25, but we revised the sizing. It's also available in men's sizes with the same name and design.
Wearing Size: 6 (159cm)
Products up to AW25 had a fairly slim fit, but we've widened the overall fit slightly to make them easier to wear. The waist and hip area are subtly adjusted, but the thighs and hems are wider to create a flattering silhouette. Because of the high rise, the slightly looser fit reduces the overall tightness, but it also allows for greater freedom of movement.
As the name suggests, the details are based on those used by the U.S. Army. You've probably heard of "baker pants," but this is the original style they were based on. They're extremely rare as military vintage items. I tried researching them, but the first result I found was so expensive I stopped looking (lol). While the original is often made with 10oz fabric, this one has a firmer texture.
Wearing size: 8 (159cm)
I bought this this season; it's my personal item. I washed it once in the washing machine, and although it shrunk a little, it was almost unchanged. In terms of height, size 6 would be fine, but I wanted a looser fit, so I went with size 8. There's a cinch back belt on the back, so you can adjust it slightly without the belt.
On the day I bought them, I wore them with this part tightened really tight. Since there was no belt to tighten them, I secretly thought, "This is pretty good..."
I've only just started wearing them, so I'm looking forward to seeing how they change over time. My goal is to use it heavily and wear it out completely!
With temperatures rising, it's now the perfect season for leisure activities. Actually, in addition to commercial facilities, Roppongi Hills also has a garden and an observation deck.
・Mouri Garden It originated as the garden of a daimyo's residence built by the grandson of Mori Motonari, a warlord of the Sengoku period. This might be a place that history buffs will enjoy. This garden blends the aesthetics of a traditional Japanese garden with elements of modern art. It's a beautiful place with seasonal flowers planted everywhere!
The view from the observation deck. It's a shame the weather wasn't nice that day... The view overlooking the city centre, and seeing Tokyo Tower appear as a miniature, was really impressive... Although it's not visible in the photo, I could also see the Tokyo Skytree on the left.
There are also museums, movie theaters, and other places to enjoy besides shopping.
Please come and visit Roppongi Hills!
