For this pair of jeans, TCB referred to their vintage 60's pair of jeans. At the time, jeans were starting to be worn and made for casual use as opposed to simply for work, which later sparked the iconic denim boom, spreading from the east coast of the USA.
The silhouette is a slim straight cut with strong tapering, using a Gripper Zipper. The lighter colour of indigo is achieved as jeans at the time no longer needed the deep indigo colour to prevent the pants from showing oil or dust stains. Made using a San Joaquin cotton, these jeans are typically woven with a more naturally fluffy feel - according to the fabric weaver that TCB partners with, the stray fabrics cannot be controlled unless a high quality cotton is used - hence the use of San Joaquin cotton to achieve as little fluff as possible.
