This product is a mix of an MA-1 and a 1940s clip jacket, giving it a strong Nigel feel.
Unlike replicas or items made with a unique brand touch, this product was born from a clever combination of Nigel's deep knowledge of vintage items and his own personal sensibilities.
The front part is also known as the fireman's clip, and is also used on Nigel Cabourn's timeless classic, the Naval Dungaree.
Originally used for combat uniforms, its functionality (ease of putting on and taking off in an emergency) was such that it was later adopted for firefighters' fire-resistant clothing as well.
There is an MA-1 cigarette pocket on the left sleeve.
