This now classic Cabourn design is influenced by the sheepskin leather ‘Irvin’ jackets worn by RAF pilots during WW2. It is called the ‘Dropzone’ sheepskin because of the hand painted insignia on the back of he jacket, which is inspired by one Nigel found on a WW2 paratrooper’s vest. A key and highly collectable piece, the ‘Dropzone’ sheepskin is handcrafted in Scotland in limited numbers.
