A long-sleeved shirt that was released as part of the HIGH SUMMER COLLECTION ahead of the onset of midsummer.

The concept of this product is based on the FARMER SHIRT worn by farmers working in agriculture. To prevent sunburn under the scorching sun, farmers at that time wore long sleeves while working, and in some cases they rolled up their sleeves up to their elbows.
This product was designed based on that vintage garment.

First, let's talk about the fabric used, hemp poplin.
Hemp poplin is an original fabric used in BRITISH OFFICERS SHORT TYPE2 - HEMP, characterised by its extremely thin and smooth texture. Needless to say, this fabric is very comfortable and can be worn even in midsummer. Washing it will make it even softer, ensuring ultimate comfort.
The colours available this time are White and Charcoal Grey.
The Charcoal Grey colourway is pigment dyed and washed. It has a washed look from the start, which is perfect for those who like this type of colour.

Next, let's take a look at each detail.
The neck has no collar and is shaped like a Henley neck, which is also the name of the product. If left like this, farmers would get severe sunburn around their necks, so at the time they would wrap hand towels around their necks to protect against the sun and absorb sweat.
The piping is not a separate piece of fabric, but is made from the same hemp poplin fabric as the bodice, giving it a very clean look.
The look of the shirt changes depending on whether the buttons are open or closed, so you can accentuate your neck with innerwear or accessories.

The key feature of this piece is the sleeves.
The cuffs have slits, making them wider than normal cuffs so they can be easily rolled up. This sleeve, inspired by vintage wear from the early 1900s, is featured on several items in this season's HIGH SUMMER COLLECTION.
These sleeves realise the concept of this product, which is a farmer style with rolled up sleeves.

Because it is a pullover style shirt, the width of the body is wide and loose. This width prevents it from sticking to your skin and allows for excellent ventilation.
The length of the dress is also an important point, with the back being slightly longer.
Of course, a tucked-out style that makes the most of the length of the garment is good, but I personally also recommend a tucked-in style that shows off the suspenders and belt.

First, let's start with a tucked-out style.
I paired the shirt with the FRENCH WORK PANTS - LINEN CANVAS in the same colour, Charcoal Grey, from the HIGH SUMMER COLLECTION. Since it's a darker tone, I rolled up the pants a bit and wore sandals to keep it from looking heavy, for a cool look.

Next up, with the White shirt I have paired with military pants, which I've been into lately, styled with a high waist and a tight belt.
This is a style of cotton nylon pants that appeared in the HIGH SUMMER COLLECTION, tightened with a belt. Wear a tank top underneath, and open the buttons deep to allow good ventilation, making it very cool and comfortable. I actually bought the white one myself, and I plan to wear it casually like this.
My favourite style is to keep the belt, boots, and accessories in brown tones, and use the tried and tested colour combination of white, green, and brown.

Many people may be wondering, "Should I wear long sleeves in the summer"? However, it is said that it feels cooler when your skin is not directly burned by strong UV rays.
This product is made from a very cool material, making it the perfect item for the coming heatwaves.
