I put together an outfit centred around the 50s FLANNEL CHECK SHIRT.

With the weather turning a bit chilly, a flannel shirt makes for the perfect layering piece. It comes in both green and red; I had a hard time choosing, but ultimately went with the red one for that instant autumn-winter vibe. Made from cotton flannel, it’s incredibly soft and smooth to wear.

For the bottoms, I paired it with a new pair of corduroy overalls from LYBRO. Although they have a large, loose silhouette, I found I could wear them without any issues. Since the legs are quite long, I rolled the cuffs up twice with large folds and then added one final, smaller fold.

The subdued navy colour gives the look a sharp, polished feel. It’s a garment packed with the kind of distinctive details typical of LYBRO, such as a large front patch, bold side pockets, and metal hooks.
