Nigel is no stranger to keeping fit and understanding the importance of maintaining a regular healthy balance between his work and lively travelling schedule, and harnessing his creativity for the Cabourn brand & collaborations.

Most days you'll find Nigel playing tennis before work, or using time on the court to unwind after a long stretch in the studio envisaging new concepts for future projects. For Nigel and his creativity, it's important to have work/play balance in life.

Nigel's innate passion for military history and deep diving into all things vintage led him to explore the use of military watches during the 20th century. Military themes are integral to Nigel's collections, often seen throughout the Authentic and Lybro collections and brought to the forefront through collaborations with brands such as Timex.

Known for wearing two watches simultaneously while travelling to keep both UK and Japanese time zones close at hand, Nigel is particularly fond of the IWC Mark XII watch that he bought in 1990, and a Lemania piece from 1967.
