The highlight of the Nigel Cabourn Spring/Summer collection is the HIGH SUMMER COLLECTION. As you may have noticed, I am especially excited about this season.
This time, we are pleased to announce that a highly anticipated new item from the HIGH SUMMER COLLECTION has arrived.
N-1 DECK PANT - LINEN CANVAS

This product is based on the "N-1 DECK PANT", a naval military masterpiece used by the US Navy during World War 2.
The N-1 DECK PANTS were developed as cold weather workwear for Navy soldiers who worked on the harsh conditions of deck, and are made with a thick, sturdy jungle cloth outer layer and wool lining for excellent durability and cold protection. As you all know, it has a strong reputation in the market.
We hoped that you would enjoy this N-1 DECK PANT in the spring and summer seasons as well. With this in mind, we have created a spring/summer version using linen fabric, Nigel Cabourn's specialty.
There are various versions of the vintage original depending on the era, but this reproduction focuses on the four-button version that was in use from the 1940s to 1950s.
It also reflects small details such as the hanging hook, front zipper, and side adjusters.
The front features a magazine pocket and a flap pocket, which are characteristic details of the British Army. What's amazing about Nigel Cabourn is that he manages to pull this style off effortlessly.
The back pockets have two patch pockets, just like the original.
It also features slash pockets, which were not featured in the original, but make it practical for everyday wear.
The fabric used is a LINEN CANVAS. Lightweight, cool, and durable, this fabric has all these qualities. You will be amazed at how comfortable this fabric is when you wear it.
In addition, it has been pigment dyed and faded to give it a rich look. The real fun comes from repeatedly wearing and washing the garment to further fade it.
Personally, I think this is one of my favorite linen fabrics from Nigel Cabourn.

This styling look combines a beanie with a Navy cut-and-sew top to give off a US Navy vibe.
With suspender-style pants, the weight of the fabric rests on your shoulders, but the fabric of these particular pants is very light, so you can wear them without any stress on your shoulders.
The original product is made of a fairly heavy fabric, so the light feel when wearing this version is a big bonus. As far as I know, this is probably the only N-1 product that has been specifically designed for summer.
There is less variety in men's clothing compared to women's clothing, so having a pair of these overpants will broaden your styling options, so if you don't have a pair yet, why not give it a try?
