This time, I'd like to introduce an item that is currently very popular in our store.
This is an item that actually existed from Nigel Cabourn in the 1980s. Based on the archives owned by Nigel's daughter, Chief Designer ZUKI, whom you all know, has created this as the only archive model for this season.
While retaining the details of the time, it has been finished to match modern times, and we want you to experience it in person at the store. A truly captivating piece.
As mentioned at the beginning, the style is based on an archive jacket from Nigel Cabourn's collection in the 1980s.
This model is based on a British Army combat smock and a US Air Force flight jacket, further incorporating elements of contemporary sports jackets. It features a packable hood, lightweight aluminium zippers, patches reminiscent of the archives, and shirring at the waist.
Every detail is meticulously crafted, making it a highly desirable piece to own.
The fabric used is cotton twill, which is also used on the reverse side of this season's QUILTING DECK COAT REVERSIBLE - RIPSTOP and QUILTING DECK VEST REVERSIBLE - RIPSTOP.
The archives from that time used cotton poplin, so the durability has been improved since then. Cotton poplin is a plain weave fabric that is light, smooth, has a crisp feel, and is a thin fabric with excellent breathability, making it more suitable for spring and summer.
Cotton twill is a twill weave fabric that is strong, soft, wrinkle-resistant, and slightly thicker, making it an attractive fabric that can be worn regardless of the season.
