The theme for SS26 LYBRO is "Post War Workwear". It draws inspiration from valuable vintage workwear from immediately after the war to 1960. It expresses the enthusiasm and resilience of an era when people were striving to rise again with strength after the economic damage caused by war.

[Unisex Item]
《TECH COTTON》
This item is made from lightweight, water-resistant technical cotton. The design is reminiscent of an iconic cotton jacket from Nigel Cabourn's archives. Attention to detail is evident in features such as the drawstring, neckline details, and drainage eyelets on the large pockets. The length that covers the hips makes this a very practical item that balances figure-flattering coverage with ease of movement!

This jacket has the functionality of a fishing jacket, and on the left shoulder there is a loop button called a rod holder keeper, which is used to temporarily secure a fishing rod. Additionally, the cuffs feature "Pershell Elastic," which incorporates elastic only in a portion of the sleeve. It serves to prevent wind and water droplets from entering.

《SLUB SATEEN》
Satin fabric woven using slub yarn, which is not uniform like ordinary yarn, with varying thicknesses. It is characterised by its unique fabric with a rich texture and uneven surface that resembles slubs.
This fishing and hunting vest is meticulously designed with attention to detail and offers ample storage space. The crescent-shaped pockets on the front of the garment offer ample storage space, while the inner pocket on the back is designed to hold game, drawing inspiration from that original design.

The NAVAL DUNGAREE is an iconic item from LYBRO. This season's version is made from lightweight linen denim, perfect for spring and summer, and is a material that's easy to wear even in hot weather.

LYBRO's signature mechanic cap. Nigel Cabourn is often seen wearing his hat with the brim turned up. The design is inspired by the functional 6-panel caps worn by US Air Force flight crews and mechanics during World War II. Because it's necessary to protect the eyes from the sun for safe aircraft takeoffs and landings, the brim is longer than that of a typical baseball cap.
With a slightly tapered silhouette, it strikes a good balance between a rugged, workwear-like feel and avoiding a clunky appearance. Reinforcement fabric is added below the hips to reduce stress on the material. The pockets of work pants are the area most susceptible to damage due to frequent access to tools and other items.
The back of the hips features a large patch pocket with horizontal reinforcement. Besides reinforcement, it seems they also served the purpose of hanging and holding down memos and other items.
