Have you seen the Nigel Cabourn x SUICOKE collection that launched on May 23rd? It's been a while since we last collaborated with SUICOKE.
This collaboration features the two-strap design of the "MOGI" and a thick platform sole.
The first thing that catches your eye is the sole. It's called the "trek outsole" and is SUICOKE's original sole that released in 2023. It's thick, so it's stable, is grippy, and is designed to be easy to walk in.
This sole is now also used in hiking boots and running shoes.
There are lots of traps at stations on rainy days, but I'm sure this will stop you from slipping!
The voluminous sole goes perfectly with Nigel Cabourn pants. The thickness makes you look a little taller and improves your style.
At first glance, it might seem like it would be difficult to walk, but it has a lightweight feel so it doesn't interfere with walking.

The next thing to pay attention to is the part you put your feet in. It looks a bit bumpy, but this is the secret to walking comfortably.
When you're standing, where on your feet is your centre of gravity?
It's said that it's easier to maintain balance on the soles of your feet by placing them on three points (the base of the big toe, the base of the little toe, and the heel).
Each shoe has its own characteristics, but the heel is the part that supports the back of the body and bears the weight. By placing an inflated, resilient material there, the burden on the heel is reduced.
When I stand, the weight is mainly on my heels. So, if I wear shoes with thin or hard soles, my Achilles tendon hurts. I'm looking for someone who can sympathise with me (lol). I want to improve my posture.

Lastly, the upper part. Two straps tighten the toe side and the ankle side of the instep, so it provides a firm hold for your feet.
Personally, I pay attention to the part below the strap that comes into direct contact with your foot. The fabric here feels good against the skin and is soft, so even if you tighten it, it doesn't hurt!
I have a rather peculiar foot shape, and I get blisters with almost any shoe, even sneakers. It's become normal for me (lol). But when I put my feet in these shoes, the fabric that wraps around my feet was so gentle that I thought, "This surely won't hurt...!"
This is a personal opinion, so everyone may have different opinions, but I want you to try it for yourself! I felt the softness, so I bought it without thinking. My feet will be unscathed this year!
