WorldShopping is a trusted proxy service that allows global customers to shop on Japanese online stores. They purchase the order on your behalf acting as the intermediary, and then ship your order internationally to your final destination.

Please see an outline of the ordering process below.

1. Order & Proxy Purchase

Request the purchase of items from the cabourn.jp online store using the WorldShopping cart. Upon receiving your order, WorldShopping will purchase your ordered items on your behalf. You must pay for your order, plus the purchasing agent fee.

Once your order is confirmed, WorldShopping cannot cancel, exchange or refund any orders. Please make sure to check the order details before placing your order.

2. Order Arrival & Confirmation

Your order will be shipped to the WorldShopping warehouse. Upon arrival, the
items will be unpacked, checked according to the order information, and repackaged for international shipment.

3. Preparations Complete Email Notification

The international shipping charges will be determined after the packing process is complete (on average 1 to 3 business days from receipt of order). You will then receive an email detailing the international shipping and handling fees, along with the payment method.

4. International Shipping Payment & Shipment

Follow the payment instructions in the email to process the payment. Your order will be shipped once this payment is complete (within 2 business days after payment).

5. Delivery

Your package will be delivered to your requested address. You may need to pay import charges (duties, customs tariffs and VAT) set by your destination country.

The NC Japan online store displays product pricing in JPY. Unfortunately it is not possible to display prices in local currencies.

Placing an order with WorldShopping requires two payments.

When you place your order with WorldShopping, the first payment includes the price of your item(s) including Japanese consumption tax, domestic shipping fee, and the purchasing agency fee.

The second payment is due once the WorldShopping warehouse has received your order and international shipping is set. This second payment is made up of the International shipping fee (including any fuel surcharges), International shipping handling fee, and International delivery insurance premium fee.

You may need to pay import charges (duties, customs tariffs and VAT) set by your destination country. This would be paid directly to your local customs service/delivery company and would be charged once your order reaches its destination. International shipping will vary depending on the weight of the parcel and the destination.

WorldShopping orders are shipped with duties unpaid, therefore you may need to pay import charges (duties, customs tariffs and VAT) set by your country.

Any import charges owed would be paid directly to your local customs service/delivery company and would be charged once your order reaches its destination.

For UK customers:

If the total item price and Japan domestic delivery fee is below the equivalent of £135, WorldShopping will collect 20% VAT on behalf of the UK government. This will be charged along with the international shipping fee in the second payment.

If the total is over £135, then 20% VAT will need to be paid to the delivery carrier upon receiving the package, along with any other import duties. Duties owed depend on the individual order contents, but sit at 12% duty rate for most clothing items.

For US customers:

Currently, DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) is offered for shipments via ECMS courier service for customers located in Mainline USA with an order value of below 800 USD. This is a method where the sender (WorldShopping) prepays any customs duties on your behalf.

You pay for the international shipping fee and customs duties together during the second payment. This allows for a smooth delivery process, as no additional payment is generally required when you receive your items.
